My Skin Journey
Hi there! I'm Layla, the co-founder of Layla and Day Skin. My skincare journey began unexpectedly in my mid-20s. Initially, skincare was an occasional concern for me, not a daily routine. However, this all changed when I started struggling with serious acne. Despite trying numerous products and treatments that promised great results, I found little success.
The Covid lockdown was a pivotal moment in my journey. With more time available, I delved into skincare research, moving beyond the search for quick fixes to a deeper understanding of proper skin care.
The development of our products was a dedicated journey that panned over four years. This period was filled with extensive learning, experimentation, and refining our formulations. My goal was to create products that were not only suitable for sensitive skin like mine but also embodied the principles of simplicity, effectiveness, and natural wellness.
Now in my mid-30s, I look back with pride at what I've learned and achieved. Layla and Day Skin is the culmination of this journey. Our products, crafted with the utmost care, feature plant-based ingredients that focus on being kind and effective to your skin.
